Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $52 to $75 per hour in Rockford, IL

POSITION SUMMARY : Reports to the Director of Surgery and is responsible for providing departmental leadership in the planning, scheduling, implementing, and evaluating the 24 hour operation of the clinical areas. Ensures the provision of high quality patient care services and business processes in accordance with Medical Center and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of patient care services to achieve the Department vision and fiscal year business plans to include new services and / or procedures. Proactively manages financial, capital and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards, and implements corrective action as necessary. Ensures provision of nursing support as required in the perioperative clinical areas to support quality driven, cost effective resource utilization. Responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of policies and processes to provide consistent operations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Education : Bachelor's degree at an approved School of Nursing License / Certifications : Registered Nurse licensure in current state. Experience : 3-5 years of related work experience, including 2 years of leadership experience.
