Emergency Department Technician, PRN

Job Description

The Nursing Assistant is a multi-skilled role and serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team. They assist in the patient's care, anticipating patient / family needs in a proactive fashion. Provides patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and other health care team members.

Position requires current Missouri CNA certification or documented completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing class. BLS certification is also required. Ideal candidate for this role will have up to a year experience working as a CNS in a hospital setting; will also consider CNA experience working in a nursing home or other skilled facility. Position requires a weekend and holiday commitment.
