Job description

Job Title : Data Analyst – Dynamics 365 F&O Migration

Location : Texas or Louisiana (Monthly travel required)

Contract Length : 6 months with possible extensions

Conversion Option : Potential for full-time hire

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support data migration from Microsoft Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Analyze legacy data structures and map to Dynamics 365 F&O schema.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor migration progress and data integrity.
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation post-migration.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure data requirements are met.
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in ERP migration projects.
  • Strong proficiency with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Great Plains (GP).
  • Solid understanding of financial and operational data structures.
  • Willingness and ability to travel monthly to client sites in Texas and Louisiana.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with SQL, Azure Data Factory, or other ETL tools.
  • Prior consulting or contract experience with ERP implementations.
