Overview

Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Clinical Faculty / Physician position at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time clinical faculty role in the Department of Pediatrics and the Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Location and Organization

The Department provides clinical services at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and operates outreach clinics at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. The department may extend its footprint to additional Chicagoland sites as opportunities arise.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inpatient and outpatient Pediatric Gastroenterology services, including direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents.
• Join a team that includes nurses, nutritionists, and social workers.
• Travel to outreach clinics as needed.
• Maintain a strong commitment to patient care, education, clinical medicine and research.

Qualifications

Opportunity and Compensation

The appointment is at the Clinical Faculty / Physician level with a faculty appointment at Rush Medical College commensurate with experience. Compensation includes base pay plus eligible incentive programs. Pay Range : $225,000 – $335,000 per year. Additional compensation may include sign-on and relocation allowances.
