Job Description and Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory), the Scientific Aids will perform program support duties for the Registration Branch. The incumbents will assist professional staff in a variety of technical, scientific and routine tasks related to the branch. The incumbents are responsible for the conversion and upload of hard copy documents into the CalPEST database. The incumbents will also assist in the Registration Resource Center, filing and maintaining product files and data.

Working Conditions

• Work in a high-rise building under artificial lighting
• Use a computer monitor, mouse and keyboard within an 8-hour day
• Lift and carry data volumes weighing up to 25 pounds

Note : These positions are not currently eligible for telework and the incumbents will be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense.
