About Us :

The Baltimore Academy has established itself as a premier provider of Full Day Special Education services for students in grades 6 through 12. The 12 month school program serves male and female adolescents ages 12 through 21 who are exhibiting serious emotional and behavior disorders and who are not yet able to function in less restrictive school settings.

One-to-One Teacher's Aide

• Monday - Thursday
• 7 AM - 2 PM (32 hrs / wk)

Responsibilities :

The responsibility of the teacher at The Baltimore Academy is to implement the individual education plan of each student assigned to a particular classroom. This includes having a thorough knowledge of our curriculum and an understanding of Maryland State-wide learning outcome goals. A teacher must also maintain an appropriate level of behavior management skills within the scope of the school-wide Behavior Management Program.
