Description :

Position Highlights :

Position : Echo Tech

Job Type : Full-Time

Location : Cath Lab

Schedule : Monday - Friday varied, on call every 3 weeks

Responsibilities :

Responsible for properly greeting patients.

Verify correct patient name, date of birth, proper exam, and diagnosis.

Confirm doctor’s order prior to performing exam or procedure.

Ensure accuracy in all procedures and documentation in EMR and PACS.

Maintain strong proficiency in 2D Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, M-Mode, Transesophageal Echocardiography with 3D, Echo Enhancement studies, Bubble Studies, and Stress Echocardiography.

Clean all equipment and surrounding environment after every exam and restock supplies.

Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Educate peers, caregivers, and students where appropriate.

Take limited weekend call with certain shift schedules to be discussed during the interview.
