Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a pediatric acute care role focusing on communication disorders and infant feeding experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a pediatric rehab services unit within an acute care setting
  • Treat a pediatric patient population, with preferred expertise in infant feeding
  • May consider applicants with outpatient speech and feeding therapy experience in lieu of acute care
  • Day shift schedule, five days per week, with flexible hours up to 40 per week
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and recommend treatment plans for pediatric patients with communication disorders
  • Perform assessments of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties upon physician referral
  • Develop individualized or group therapy plans based on patient needs
  • Document client progress and support students during clinical rotations
  • Responsibilities may include other duties as assigned
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology required
  • Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
  • Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
