Job description

Uptool is looking for a Senior, Full-Stack Developer based in the SF Bay Area. In office at least 2 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Early-stage SAAS startup experience, responsible for developing critical, customer-facing product features.
  • 5+ years of building modern full-stack web applications including backend (API design, databases, security) and frontend (TS, React / Vue, SPA)
  • Experience with cloud / infrastructure (scaling, reliability, troubleshooting) and being the on-call first responder.
  • Love for modern development practices (dev tooling, CI / CD, IaC, etc).
  • Experience with a multitude of languages, paradigms, frameworks. Desire and ability to quickly learn more.
  • Comfortable shaping the product in collaboration with adjacent roles (product, design / UX).
  • Strong sense of ownership, including troubleshooting production, talking to customers, etc.
