POSITION : Maintenance / Janitorial

RESPONSIBLE TO : The Maintenance Manager

MAIN FUNCTION : Perform general maintenance, repairs and cleaning of agency property.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS :

• Perform minor plumbing repairs.
• Perform general cleaning including but not limited to sweeping, emptying trash, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors. Cleaning of high touch surfaces.
• Perform repairs and refinishing of furniture.
• Be aware of Head Start Performance Standards and DPW Regulations as they relate to physical plant issues Perform duties to bring buildings and playgrounds into compliance with local codes, DPW

Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards.
