Part-Time Evening Shift Needed

This position functions as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. A Health Unit Coordinator, under the direction of nursing leadership, facilitates unit organization and patient care by assisting in the coordination of patient, nursing, physician and other health care provider office and clerical activities.

This role is primarily for a Health Unit Coordinator but the individual may be asked to complete some Patient Care Tech tasks.

Unit Description : We specialize in caring for a variety of both medical and surgical patients. We provide inpatient care to patients with multiple diagnoses including diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiac-tele monitored, infectious, kidney, and liver diseases. We also offer surgical care for hip and knee replacements, general surgeries such as bowel resections, new ostomies, bladder, and plastics.
