Project

Application Repair & Replace

The system serves as the primary repository for the company's information capture and is the principal source for it's internal and external data reporting.

This project supports upgrading the current application from Java 8 to Java 21 and assists with Azure Disaster Recovery (DR) efforts.

Role and Responsibilities of the Resource Request

Java Application Developers will be responsible for analysis, testing, and development activities. They may also assist with batch report development and support. Responsibilities include direct customer interaction, collaboration with team members, and participation in project-related meetings and ceremonies.

Requirements

Education Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Technical Proficiency Strong experience in Java development, including application upgrades (Java 8 to Java 21 preferred) Proficiency in SQL for scripting, troubleshooting, and data analysis Familiarity with Azure cloud services, especially Disaster Recovery (DR) configuration and support Skilled in application testing, debugging, and integration support Ability to produce and maintain clear technical documentation Development & Collaboration Experience working in Agile environments with sprint tracking and backlog management Ability to validate requirements and user stories Comfortable participating in project meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams Strong communication skills for direct stakeholder interaction
