We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer II who is passionate about building Kit's innovative publishing platform and enhancing creator experiences.

As part of the Builders team, you will craft the suite of publishing tools that empower creators to develop emails, landing pages, and newsletters. Your contributions will shape creators' journeys from onboarding to engagement and conversion, ensuring a seamless application experience and incorporating our design system.

We are looking for a frontend expert who excels in React development and has a full-stack mindset. Your skills in modern frontend development will be key to delivering exceptional user experiences. You will take initiative in architecting features from the database level to deployment, helping elevate our platform’s quality and usability.

Your Role :

• Engage with our codebase and publishing platform architecture, set up your local environment, and contribute to production code right away.
• Complete your onboarding plan, familiarize yourself with our tools, and identify opportunities for optimizing the creator experience. Participate actively in planning, building, and reviewing code to enhance creator interactions.
• Lead the implementation of key features from concept to launch, refactor legacy code strategically, and promote best practices that enhance our technical standards. Engage in on-call rotations to ensure service reliability, present at Lunch & Learn sessions, and mentor your peers to maintain high code quality.

Work Location and Hours :

This role is fully remote, with team members around the globe. Collaboration primarily occurs during Eastern Time, which means early mornings or late evenings for West Coast US, European, or Asian team members. Core collaboration hours are from 10 : 45 AM to 2 : 00 PM Eastern Time, with flexible working outside these hours.
