Job Description
The Creative Traffic Manager is an organized, process-oriented leader who has a knack for working with creative thinkers and keeping cross-functional teams efficient. In this role, you'll turn video and creative project requests from inside and outside the company into actionable plans — think schedules, timelines, and deliverables, making sure everything runs like clockwork. You'll work closely with talented teams, communicating clearly, solving problems on the fly, and taking ownership of project trafficking, client interfacing, and final project delivery. The ideal candidate should not just be a strong communicator, but a proactive problem solver — someone who works well with others, being the catalyst that ensures our processes enable creative excellence.
Role Responsibilities
- Project Trafficking & Reporting : Own and maintain project trafficking systems, providing regular reports on project status, timelines, and internal performance metrics. Identify potential risks and gather more information as needed to complete proper briefs to ensure effective and efficient creative deliverables.
- Improve Workload Management : Schedule projects based on team capacity and manage workloads. Implement and utilize forecasting features within project management systems to allocate tasks fairly and evenly.
- Communication & Collaboration : Facilitate clear and consistent communication between creative teams, PPMs, stakeholders, and vendors. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment across both cross-functional teams and internal clients.
- Contribute to weekly internal status meetings to better traffic projects successfully throughout the process.
- Workflow Optimization : Develop, implement, and manage project workflows and timelines for creative and video projects, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery.
- Serve as the day-to-day communication and collaboration leader between creative teams with other internal departments including marketing, digital, social media, sales, production, partnerships, operations, events, and other key stakeholders.
- Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., freelancers, printers, photographers), ensuring quality of work and tracking performance.
- Strong Attention To Detail : Ability to manage projects while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small. This means closely monitoring and checking work or information, while organizing time and resources efficiently.
- Uphold Brand Standards : Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Chiefs visual brand identity and style guide direction, ensuring that brand guidelines are met across all projects both internally and externally.
Qualification Requirements
