About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's financial strategy, operations, and reporting, with a focus on maintaining a legacy of innovation and performance. This high-impact, onsite role requires a leader who can provide forward-thinking financial guidance, ensure excellence in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and drive team development. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for leading the finance, accounting, and FP&A teams, overseeing financial processes, and partnering with the CEO and executive leadership on capital planning and strategic growth initiatives.

Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA and / or CPA highly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or executive role, is required. Experience in operational industries such as transportation, logistics, or supply chain is strongly preferred. The role demands a hands-on approach to cost analysis, operational finance, and KPI tracking, as well as a proven track record in building scalable finance functions and leading cross-functional initiatives. Strong systems orientation, including ERP, financial modeling, dashboards, Excel, and BI tools, is essential, along with executive-level communication skills and a strategic, proactive mindset.
