Medical Office Coordinator

Shift Start Time : 8 AM

Shift End Time : 5 PM

AWS Hours Requirement : 8 / 40 - 8 Hour Shift

Weekend Requirements : No Weekends

On-Call Required : No

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum) : $25.550 - $31.860 - $35.680

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

What You Will Do

Assists in all departmental functions to include, but not limited to : Coordinating surgery, obtain all necessary referrals, ensures that all necessary medical records, labs and radiology results and films are available for the surgeon, also schedules all necessary preop tests and labs. Coordinates and maintains the Physician Assistant's daily clinical and general surgery schedules. Coordinates the scheduling of all hospital procedures. Serves as contact person for patients, physicians, surgeons, PAAES, UR, and financial services to ensure all established goals are met. Provides a high level of customer service in a manner consistent with SRS mission and goals.

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 Years medical office experience required with emphasis on procedure scheduling and financial screening and experience with coding surgeries.
• Word processing and appointment scheduling experience.
