Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical in Henderson, KY

Job Title : RN - Medical-Surgical Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Henderson, KY (onsite) Contract Duration : 13 weeks Work Hours : 6 : 30AM - 7PM Total Weekly Hours : 36 MS RN - Days AUTO OFFER NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE) Contract Length : 13 weeks Start : 1 / 12 - Bi-weekly orientation Guaranteed hours : 36 (will accept 48s upon request)

• OT will go into effect after 52hrs on 48hr contracts Primary location : Henderson Shift Requirement : 12hr Days 6 : 30-7 Float Requirement : First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Midtown (IN 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call / Call Back Requirement : N / A Weekend / Holiday Requirement : Every third weekend. Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal : Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED : Two years of strong Med / Surg, 1 travel assignment. Charting Experience : Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population : General M / S : gallbladder, colectomy, appey, hip / knee replacements / ORIFs, Covid, GI bleeds, CHF, COPD, sepsis, UTI, respiratory. Skillset : PIV insertion, chest tube / indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs / NGs, ostomy care, remote tele, blood product administration, NIHSS / dysphagia screen, Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates. Unit Information : 45 beds. Ratio : Days 1 : 4-5; NOCs 1 : 5-7; CN takes full assignment on nights and may take patients on days. Unit Strengths : Very experienced staff. Scrub Colors : Navy blue scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos
