At Edward Jones, the Human Capital (HC) Division utilizes people expertise to proactively drive high-impact solutions that deliver firm results. The Senior Human Resources Business Consultant is responsible for leading the strategic human capital business, partnering with the Chief Human Resource Officer and the senior leadership teams across Human Capital responsible for the organization / talent strategy and integrated solutions delivery / development in partnership with Human Capital Centers of Excellence and Shared Services.

What You'll Do :

  • Strategic Partnership : Serve as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and senior leaders, building credibility through business acumen, data-driven insights, and sound judgment.
  • People Strategy : Translate business priorities into integrated people strategies that strengthen talent pipelines, enhance organizational effectiveness, and drive performance outcomes.
  • Executive Coaching : Provide coaching and thought partnership to senior leaders, elevating team performance, building leadership capabilities, and guiding change readiness.
  • Organizational Development : Lead organizational design and development efforts, orchestrating the delivery of tailored human capital solutions in collaboration with COEs and Shared Services.
  • Culture & Engagement : Shape a positive associate experience by reinforcing Edward Jones' culture and fostering engagement across teams.
  • Leadership Influence : Model leadership behaviors, share best practices, and contribute to the evolution of the Business Partner model.

Ideal candidate is local to the St. Louis Market or open to relocation to St. Louis

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts : health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Hiring Minimum : $117000

Hiring Maximum : $199300

What Experience You'll Need :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years HR experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Advanced degree and a Senior HR certification is a plus

  • Prior business partner experience
  • Demonstrated business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and coaching at the senior leadership level
  • Experience developing, building, and maintaining strong business partnerships
  • Ability to effectively engage and influence leaders at all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational and change management skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and decision-making
  • Proven leader with ability to develop, attract and retain talented HR teams with accountability
  • Ideal candidate is local to the St. Louis Market or open to relocation to St. Louis

  • Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
