About The Position

📌 Position Description

A hospital in California seeks a Board-Certified OB / GYN for 24‑hour call coverage on October 14–15 to cover provider leave. You’ll support a Family Birthing Center with its own OR , handle deliveries, C-sections, and OB / GYN-related ED calls. The monthly delivery volume is 25–40 , and support includes local OB / GYNs, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams. The EMR system used is Cerner .

Job Requirements

✅ Requirements

Board Certified in OB / GYN or Board Eligible (within 5 years)

Active California Medical License

DEA License (required during credentialing)

Recent surgical and delivery experience : ≥100 GYN surgeries in past 2 years

Must be available for Oct 14–15 call dates

Clean malpractice / background history preferred

Willingness to comply with proctoring :

2 observed deliveries (one C-section)

3 GYN cases (hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, laparotomy)

3-month retrospective review

Must submit procedural logs or residency / fellowship surgical records
