Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $1,876 per week in Kingwood, WV

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : ICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Experience : Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License : Active RN License required Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have : - Conscious sedation skills - Telemetry experience - Ventilator management experience Description : ICU Registered Nurse needed for a night shift position working 3x12 hours. Position involves weekdays and every other weekend. The average patient ratio is 2 : 1 during night shifts. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management skills are essential. A copy of all required certifications must be included in the application. Candidates must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. Candidates are expected to float as needed within the unit. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. The unit will provide interdisciplinary support, including respiratory services and rapid response teams. The facility requires adherence to infection prevention protocols. Candidates must have strong skills in accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and continuous IV sedation. Knowledge of emergency medications and interpretation of arterial blood gases is necessary. The registered nurse will be responsible for the care and management of ventilated patients and those with multisystem organ dysfunction. Modules prior to start should be completed and are included within non-billable orientation hours. All documentation must be submitted to ensure compliance with facility requirements.
