A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Applications Developer to join their Annuity Administration Team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide application software development services or technical support for applications such as Vantage-One, wmA, and DSS
Review system requirements and business processes, developing program logic for new applications or modifying existing applications
Design, code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications while ensuring successful system improvements
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in application development or technical support for mainframe applications
Proficiency in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and CICS
Strong understanding of mainframe databases like DB2 and experience with tools such as TSO, ISPF, and SDSF
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
Experience in Annuity Insurance and familiarity with Agile software development is a plus
