Telemedicine Physician

Location : Remote after initial 30-day on-site orientation and training in Raleigh ( 1-2 days per month required onsite in Raleigh, ongoing)

Schedule : Flexible Mon-Sat hours, with a minimum of 30 hours per week

Contract Type : 1099, paid per assessment, 1 year +

Specialty : Primary Care or related

Job Description : Work on a team as a Consultant, with NO DIRECT PATIENT CARE OR CONTACT.

Responsibilities : Review of claimant records and prepared case summaries and use medical experience, expertise, and judgment to determine the severity of impairments and residual functional capacity . This review is completed electronically using a provided computer. Criminal record background checks are required.

Qualifications : NC MD or DO with clear license and background, 1 year similar experience desired.
