Job Description :

Join a fast-growing, customer-focused logistics leader recognized for its commitment to service, stability, and innovation. We re seeking an experienced International Freight Forwarding Agent to handle air and ocean, import / export operations from A Z for our Pittsburgh team.

This is a hands-on role for a self-sufficient operator who knows the quoting process, cost procurement, and full shipment management cycle. Candidates located within 50 miles of the PIT market may work hybrid or fully remote depending on performance and experience.

Responsibilities :

Manage full-cycle international shipments (air, ocean, import, export)

Quote customers directly and negotiate carrier / vendor rates

Prepare documentation : commercial invoices, AES filings, and bills of lading

Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, and brokers for on-time delivery

Track and trace shipments; resolve exceptions and communicate proactively

Maintain compliance with U.S. Customs and international regulations

Deliver exceptional customer service with attention to accuracy and detail

Qualifications :

3 5 years of international freight forwarding experience

Strong knowledge of quoting, cost procurement, and pricing

Proficient in CargoWise, Magaya, or similar TMS platforms

Excellent multitasking and communication skills

Knowledge of Incoterms and documentation requirements
