The Pharmacy Retail Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing daily administrative operations to ensure the highest quality service response and delivery consistent with established professional and regulatory standards.

The role involves developing operational and financial outcome measures, related tracking and monitoring systems, and integrating these efforts into organization-wide quality improvement systems.

The supervisor will implement and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.

Regular assessment of program effectiveness is essential, along with proactive efforts to facilitate continuous process improvement.

The supervisor is responsible for staff development through the provision of timely feedback and adherence to Human Resource policies.

Planning and directing computer-based information and dispensing systems is necessary to ensure ongoing efficiency and accuracy.

Managing purchasing and inventory functions effectively is critical to provide timely availability of pharmaceuticals and related products.

Facilitating professional growth by assessing learning needs and coordinating educational opportunities is key to this position.

The supervisor will prepare monthly progress reports, identifying areas for improvement and concern.

Participation in departmental orientation and quality assurance programs is expected.

Engagement in educational programs to maintain competency levels while addressing performance or training needs is required.
