The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing UOVO Wines IT infrastructure and SaaS applications. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems and networks. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with strong technical skills and a passion for optimizing technology to support business operations.
This position reports to the Director of Information Technology. This is a hybrid role based in Saint Louis with no less than 3 days in the office per week.
Required Skills / Abilities
Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office
Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP / IP), firewalls
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Skills / Abilities
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
Proficiency with Mac OS environments
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM Building Flows and using low-code automation tools
Experience with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) or other Inventory management software
Familiarity with website hosting platforms (e.g., WordPress, WooCommerce)
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience managing IT projects or vendor relationships
Responsibilities
Create or update SOPs and documentation for system processes
Perform onboarding / offboarding of user accounts
Manage permissions and access controls across SaaS applications
Work in tandem with a co-managed service provider to ensure help desk requests are being resolved in a timely manner and serve as T2 / T3 support
Work cross-functionally with accounting, sales, operations, and facilities to identify needs or fix problems with technology and support projects
Collaborate with external vendors on projects
Monitor API programs for errors, perform basic troubleshooting and elevating to developer vendors as needed
Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds handling network or computer equipment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Frequent use of fingers and wrists
Travel Requirements
Local travel to pick up / drop off equipment from our service provider
Possible travel to other UOVO Wine facilities
Required Education, Experience, or Certifications
Bachelors Degree in a technology related field, or equivalent experience and certifications
3+ years of experience in systems administration

Salary commensurate with experience.
