Hawaii Litigation Paralegal Hybrid | Oahu, HI

Location : Oahu, HI (Hybrid)

Position Type : Full-Time

A respected multi-state creditors rights firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its growing litigation team. This role offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced legal practice that serves leading financial institutions.

About the Role :

The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with the representation of clients in judicial foreclosure proceedings and related litigation matters. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities :

Support litigation attorneys in moving cases forward efficiently through the legal process.

Draft pleadings, including motions, proposed orders, and notices of hearings.

Prepare discovery responses and requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions.

Request and manage documentation from clients needed to complete filings.

Handle docket sounding and deposition scheduling.

Track and monitor litigation deadlines to ensure compliance.

Draft correspondence to borrowers, courts, and clients.

Maintain and update internal case management systems and client portals.

Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

High school diploma required; Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.

Strong understanding of legal principles, research techniques, and terminology.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Experience with legal software and client systems a plus.
