We are actively hiring a Forklift Operator to join our team in our Independence, KY location. If you have experience driving a forklift, this is an opportunity for you.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inbound and outbound freight, ensuring its safe and accurate movement to and from vehicles and containers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the dock area while ensuring all freight is correctly labeled, weighed, and dimensioned.

Responsibilities :

• Load and unload freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Sort freight according to size and destination.
• Read and decode freight coding for efficient movement and tracking.
• Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.
• Perform cleanup activities to maintain a safe and clean dock area.
• Record and report damaged shipments and misrouted freight.

Shift / Pay :

Sunday through Tuesday with rotating Wednesday. 5pm-5 : 30am- $22.50hr

Thursday through Saturday with rotating Wednesday 5pm 5 : 30pm- $22.50h

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
