Division Overview :

Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. With a large printable surface area and a wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand presence where it counts. Location :

Crown is building a brand-new manufacturing facility in Martinsville, VA. This state-of-the-art facility will manufacture specialty beverage cans for some of the top consumer product companies. We are in the process of assembling a world class team of individuals to operate this facility and are looking for Quality Assurance Inspectors.

: : Qualifications :

Requirements for this position would include but not be limited to the following :

• Inspects and tests products for quality defects in the manufacturing process and reports issues and concerns to various departments.
• Ensures all equipment , guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules .
• Performs continual quality control checks to ensure product is running within specifications.
• Audits various applications to product to ensure SOP specifications are met.
• Analyze spoilage, record causes, and take corrective actions where applicable .
• Monitors processes and reports all problems to supervision through interaction and required paperwork.
• Advise management and coach fellow co-workers on matters regarding quality issues.
• Follows all SOP requirements and intercedes or challenges proper personnel when defects are present in production runs .
• Notify supervisor of any incidents of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken and of any poor-quality material or supplies noted .
• Interacts and reports to / with the Quality Manager in creation and revisions of SOP ' s (standard operating procedures) as changes and additions require .
• Keeps area safe, clean , and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required .
• This position will also help to provide training for equipment operation and reinforce all safety procedures .
