Certifications : BLS

Must-Have : Dry Needling Certification - ONLY REQUIRED IF performing the Dry Needling function

Description :

Providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders.

Patients require strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and training in activities of daily living.

Care is provided under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Participates in professional responsibilities, including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.

Duties include a variety of therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, ADL retraining.

Patient education in home safety and adaptive equipment.

Compensation techniques, coordination, strengthening, and therapeutic exercise programs.

Manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education per patient needs.

Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab units is preferred.

Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

This position may require working standard hours and flexible hours.

Flexibility is demonstrated by floating to other areas, sites, and being available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
