Vice President - P&C Actuarial Services

As a senior executive, the Vice President, P&C Actuarial Services provides strategic direction and oversight for L&E's property and casualty consulting practice. This role ensures excellence in pricing, reserving, regulatory compliance, predictive analytics, and capital modeling while also leading sales, key client relationships, innovation efforts, and firm-wide initiatives. Base Salary : Starting at $180,000, commensurate with experience, plus individual and company performance-based bonuses.
You will :
- Lead and grow a profitable P&C consulting book of business by driving new client wins, RFPs / proposals, and expansion with existing clients across insurers, MGAs, reinsurers, insurtechs, and self-insured groups.
- Own senior-level client relationships as a trusted advisor and, where applicable, Appointed Actuary-overseeing pricing studies, reserve analyses, rate filings, profitability reviews, and related management reporting.
- Lead and manage multiple complex consulting engagements across pricing, reserving, capital, and portfolio analytics, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and actionable deliverables.
- Provide deep technical and regulatory expertise, including oversight of models, projections, and predictive analytics, and serve as the lead actuarial contact for external audits, financial exams, and regulatory engagements (e.g., SERFF submissions, DOI interrogatories, Appointed Actuary memos).
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams of actuaries and consultants, coaching others, delegating effectively, and fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
- Collaborate with firm owners and other leaders to shape P&C practice strategy, go-to-market plans, and new or enhanced service offerings and tools.
- Represent L&E in the marketplace through thought leadership, conferences, professional involvement, and other visibility efforts that reinforce our brand and generate new opportunities.
Essential Requirements :
ACAS or FCAS required; MAAA strongly preferred.8+ years of progressive P&C actuarial experience, with meaningful time in consulting and / or other client-facing roles.Deep technical expertise in P&C pricing and reserving across multiple lines; experience with capital modeling and / or predictive analytics strongly preferred.Proven track record of winning and growing profitable work (e.g., proposals, RFPs, new products, or expansion into new lines / jurisdictions).Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable advising senior management, boards, and regulators.Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to travel periodically for key client meetings, conferences, and internal events.Pay, Benefits & Perks :
