Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join Artie Morris's team in TC-G. This team is responsible for general facility maintenance and the design of test cells used by various teams for component testing. The role provides excellent visibility to internal career growth opportunities, as the work involves collaboration with multiple departments and ever-evolving projects.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for documenting electrical schematics for the facility's testing infrastructure, designing test apparatus, and creating standardized electrical schematics that can be modified for future test requirements. This role also involves a strong focus on facility and PLC controls wiring, as well as PLC programming capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Document and update electrical schematics for the facility's test cells and electrical systems (low to medium voltage).
- Design and develop electrical wiring, test stands, and apparatus for engine testing.
- Create and maintain standardized electrical drawings and schematics for future test applications.
- Develop wiring schematics for facility and PLC controls wiring.
- Program PLCs to support automated testing and facility control functions.
- Utilize CAD / CREO (or AutoCAD) for modeling and documenting electrical schematics.
- Work hands-on with electrical systems and testing setups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the test cells meet specific testing requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design and implementation challenges.
Must-Have Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.2-4 years of experience in electrical design and documentation.Proficiency in CAD / CREO or AutoCAD for electrical schematic modeling.Experience in creating wiring schematics for facility and PLC control systems.Knowledge and experience with PLC programming.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.Hands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.Why Join Us?
