Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited Speech Pathology program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC / SLP) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
  • Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of speech therapy principles, methods, and patient safety procedures
  • Emotional stability and professional integrity in patient care
  • Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement preferred
  • Experience in dysphagia assessment and treatment is a plus
  • Familiarity with Net Health preferred
  • What you'll do

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs in collaboration with the care team.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals and progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and facility standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment that encourages recovery and communication success.
