This includes leadership on significant regulatory correspondence; Consent Order Quarterly Progress Reporting; agenda-setting and content development for Data-related reporting to regulators and executive management (both routine and rapid response); content development for EDO's contributions to Board meetings; regulatory examination support; and strategic advice on data governance, progress measurement, and Consent Order and MRA compliance. In addition, the team provides thought leadership on addressing action items and proactively works across the EDO organization to address execution risks and implement solutions to address senior leaders' questions, concerns and direction. The Regulatory Communications, Advisory & Management Senior Vice President (for EDO) reports to the Data Regulatory Advisory & Management Director and plays a critical role in leading and messaging Citi's data transformation, a multi-year effort to embed a data governance discipline and culture that values information to support Citi's business strategies and is focused on improving data quality to fuel opportunity, innovation, and business value. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. This position partners with stakeholders in Citi's, business, function and technology teams to develop the vision and messaging to articulate the ongoing risk reduction and progress toward target state, through various channels and forums, for a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators.

Skilled in copy-editing technical language for brevity, clarity and appropriateness for executive audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships within the Enterprise Data Office and beyond to develop "fingers on the pulse" of Data achievements and risks and a strong sense of management and regulatory expectations. Align messaging across various channels for consistency and efficiency.
  • Presentation and Project Leadership : Develop project timelines, factoring in input needed from subject-matter experts and individual time to refine into a cohesive presentation. • Intellectual Curiosity : Proactively seek clarity and supporting information from subject-matter experts to gain personal familiarity and understanding of bespoke data remediation topics including adjustments reductions, data concern remediation and reduction of manual touchpoints. Seek out storytelling to highlight the tangible outcome (e.g., risk reduction) beyond mere project management status.
  • Advisory Support : Provide strategic advice on tone and messaging and best practices for managing a consistent message across many concurrent presentations and reports. Confidence to engage with senior leaders and iterate on in-progress drafts, incorporating feedback with care. Build on prior discussions to anticipate "what good looks like" for future efforts.
  • Issue Identification & Resolution : Monitor and communicate progress on plans, anticipating risks and issues, and proactively work to resolve barriers to success. Check accuracy of messaging and figures against source materials.
