Ultimate Staffing Services is currently seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join a dynamic healthcare team in Catonsville MD. This position involves providing comprehensive support to healthcare providers and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in the Pediatrics Department.

Responsibilities :

• Escort patients from waiting area to exam room, obtain vitals, and prepare patient for examination.
• Assist with check-in process if needed to ensure timeliness of patient flow.
• Communicate with provider on schedule changes and status of patient readiness.
• Assist providers with physical exam and procedures (i.e., EKG, urinalysis, blood procurement, vaccinations) and process laboratory samples.
• Check Athena EMR "buckets" and mailboxes for messages or patient cases frequently throughout the day.
• Clean and stock exam rooms regularly with appropriate supplies.
• Assist provider with patient paperwork and scanning into the EMR (growth charts, etc.).
• Make phone calls to patients as needed.
• Provide cross-coverage as needed throughout the office (front desk, phones, or other providers, both Pediatric and adult Internal Medicine).
• Use "down time" effectively and minimize phone use.
• Other duties as assigned by Office Manager and / or Provider.

Requirements :

Must be available to work a 4-10 shift schedule w / 1 scheduled day off during the work week & 1 to 2 rotating Saturdays.

Must have Medical Assistant Certification / License & 2 years working in Pediatrics that include well visits (not urgent care).

Compensation :

The pay range for this position is $17.43 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
