The Role
We are seeking a highly driven and innovative Federal Account Director I to manage key federal accounts, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors (BOG). This position requires managing customers in the assigned accounts with the goal of meeting and exceeding sales targets and growing Lumen’s footprint within these established accounts.
The Main Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy.
- Develop and implement an account plan and sales strategy to drive growth within these established accounts.
- Leverage prior Salesforce experience to ensure accurate forecasting of sales opportunities to provide funnel management insight.
- Customer Engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer leadership and key account partners to drive growth.
- Promote key Lumen messages in alignment with customer mission(s).
- Account Management.
- Efficient management of sales processes.
- Support proposal and capture teams on assigned accounts.
- Employ strategic account planning to expand services and sales within assigned accounts.
- Conduct competitor analysis for winning market positioning.
What We Look For in a Candidate
5+ years of technical sales experience, with at least 5 years of experience selling into federal government agencies. Existing experience with the Federal Reserve and / or SEC is a plus!Proven ability to manage and influence customer relationships at the senior executive level.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead others.Exceptional oral, written and presentation communication skillsHighly self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Capacity to learn quickly and apply knowledge to develop account expansion plans.Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC.Growth Opportunities : This position offers growth potential through success-based criteria. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
94,154 - $125,528 in these states : DC MD VA
