Position Overview :
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with medical providers before and after surgical procedures. You will serve as a patient advocate to ensure an outstanding healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, reporting any significant changes.Execute medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers.Accurately document all aspects of patient care in medical records.Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment specific to cardiac and medical-surgical care.Qualifications :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be achieved within 6 months of employment.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse Diploma program.Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital offering a wide array of medical services including women’s health, emergency response, and specialty care centers such as a Level I Trauma Center and Chest Pain Center.
