Cath Lab Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)

Pay Rate : $1790.31 - $1961.72

Travel Cath Lab Tech jobs FL let you work alongside cardiologists in a cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with advanced cardiac procedures such as stent placements, ablations, angiograms, and pacemaker placements.

You will prep patients, operate specialized imaging equipment, monitor vital signs, maintain sterile environments, and provide post-procedure care instructions. Recommended experience includes completion of an accredited associate degree program in cardiovascular technology or invasive cardiovascular technology, with coursework in anatomy, physiology, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, and cardiac medications. Clinical training in hospital catheterization labs is essential. Certification such as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT) is strongly recommended and increasingly preferred. Skills needed include technical proficiency with imaging systems, strong communication, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
