Apprentice Automotive Service Technician

The Apprentice Technician is responsible for assisting experienced automotive technicians in performing vehicle maintenance and repairs under close supervision learning basic diagnostic skills and gaining hands-on experience in various automotive systems while actively training to become a fully qualified technician.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND BEGINS AT $18.00 AN HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions perform repairs as directed and document all work performed.
• Attend all training shop meetings and continue education provided by the manufacturer.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Road test vehicles to quality check the work performed.
• Understand and follow Federal State and Local regulations
• Maintain CSI level established by manufacturer and dealership standards
