JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a highly motivated and driven Software Engineer (Acquisitions) to work Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct systems engineering / scientific support to and advise on engineering requirements, technical issues, and risks related to software development
• Provide technical oversight and support strategic software planning
• Serve as a hardware / software technical interface to Computer Scientist / engineering community on related software engineering activities and issues
• Provide real-time access to SMEs for problem assessment and resolution
• Provide software engineering technical support and representation
• Provide technical oversight into the Program Increment (PI) priority workloads.
• Provide concurrence, if applicable, on contractor proposed changes to processes and Software (SW) development plans
• Perform computer science, data science, operations research or other professional scientific work involved with the scientific aspects in the development and application of mathematical theories, methods and operations in research and engineering, test and evaluation and logistics functions
• Identify and solve a wide variety of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables and constraints
• Deliver optimized technical solutions that are balanced to achieve required technical performance within cost, schedule and technology constraints
• Function as a member of an integrated team / group providing technical guidance to a technical workforce and meeting customer requirements for products and / or services
• Coordinate small to medium segments of a project / program
• Apply tools such as but not limited to : Risk Management, Configuration Management, Data Management, Trade-off Analysis / Trade Studies, Technical Performance Measurement, Technical Reviews, Modeling & Simulation or Earned Value Management

COMPENSATION

The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Rollout Systems offers a variety of benefits including health insurance with domestic partner coverage, company-funded health savings account and life and disability insurances, 401(k) matching, 401(k) profit-sharing, education assistance, paid time off, and paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, location, and schedule type.
