The Manager of Risk Management will support a dynamic Quality and Risk Management Department embedded in a hospital recognized as a Stroke Center and Cardiac Center with a strong orthopedics program. The Manager of Risk Management will collaborate with clinical service lines to align risk mitigation, quality improvement, and patient safety goals across emergency, inpatient, surgical, and ambulatory settings.
The Manager of Risk Management will report to senior leadership such as the Chief Quality Officer, partnering closely with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team that includes quality analysts, clinical educators, infection prevention specialists, case management, and physician champions. The Manager of Risk Management will lead event reporting and investigation, root cause analysis, policy and protocol development, readiness for Joint Commission and CMS standards, claims and incident review, enterprise risk assessments, and proactive safety rounding, while mentoring staff and advancing a Just Culture across the hospital.
