Job Summary and Responsibilities

AmeriMed Infusion Pharmcy in West Chester, Ohio Now Hiring Fulltime Compounding Pharmacy Technician - $2,500 Sign On Bonus

Work Schedule (9 : 30 AM -6 : 00 PM) M-F.

On Call Rotation every 6-8 weekends

Under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, the Compounding Pharmacy Technician measures and compounds medication, maintains patient records, and performs those duties deemed acceptable by the State Board of Pharmacy. Key Responsibilities & Requirements :

• Certification : Maintains State and National Pharmacy Technician Certification. If not CPhT certified, must obtain an approved national certification to practice in the state working within 12 months of the hire date.
• Training : Assists with the orientation and training of pharmacy personnel.
• Billing : Must be able to work with insurance providers and medical providers, including billing insurance providers and performing necessary follow-up.
• Schedule : (9 : 30 AM -6 : 00 PM) M-F. On Call Rotation every 6-8 weekends
• Equipment & Procedures :

Programs or double checks IV pump settings for accuracy prior to delivery.

Communicates with patients about supply and deliveries of medications.
