Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions  is seeking a  Satellite Mechanical Integration Engineer  to support a flourishing federal IT provider based out of Annapolis Junction, MD. The  Satellite Mechanical Integration Engineer is responsible for supporting the mission of building the first space cellular network satellites in preparation for launch. Responsibilities of the Satellite Mechanical Integration Engineer Includes :

  • Support mechanical engineering initiaitivs for satellite integration and launch vehicles.
  • Support antenna, sensor, radar, etc hardware creation and integrations.
  • Develop and execute mechanical procedures.
  • Coordinate with oversea mechanical integration, handling, and transportation of the satellite.

Qualifications for the  Satellite Mechanical Integration Engineer  Includes :

  • 2-8+ years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Aeronaucial or spacecraft launch engienering experience
  • 2+ years of experience in handling large mechanical structures : aerospace, launch operations, and / or satellite experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred

    • Compensation for the  Satellite Mechanical Integration Engineer Includes :

  • Salary Range :  $85,000 - $105,000
  • depending on experience and education
