Job descriptionVaried work schedule with weekend and holiday requirements Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills for patient care Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in a timely and accurate manner Participate in patient and family education and evaluate effectiveness of teaching Current valid RN license in state of practice required BLS certification required Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and using proper body mechanics for patient transfers Referral bonus
