Job Description As a Principal Architect in Enterprise Architecture at Endava, you'll spearhead the specification and design of information systems across diverse business needs, ensuring seamless compatibility with both enterprise and solution architectures. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong communication skills, with responsibilities including leading design processes, translating logical designs into physical implementations, and influencing stakeholders. Responsibilities : Lead the design process for information systems, including tool selection, technical visualization, and detailed design documentation, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. Incorporate frontend and backend technologies, databases, infrastructure, and ensure security and compliance standards. Translate logical designs into physical implementations considering environmental constraints and system integration. Experience with the Payments industry (Payment processing solutions, etc) is required. Guide resource allocation and strategic decision-making, influencing team members, clients, and suppliers. Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains. Uphold high standards in software development and architectural design, ensuring alignment with project goals. Navigate complex social and technical landscapes, making judicious decisions to balance interests. Qualifications : Demonstrated experience in software design and development using leading technologies, frameworks, databases, cloud infrastructure, and security. Experience in software integration using ESBs, MQs, API Gateways, and streaming software. Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, TDD, and familiarity with development tools. Knowledge of testing and release management practices. Proven ability in systems design, using modern methodologies and design patterns. Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts. Experience leading distributed teams and engaging with clients. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
