Job description

Job Summary :

This position is for an EEG Technologist in an acute care Magnet hospital. The role involves performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) and related duties, requiring a minimum of two years of experience. The technologist will work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule, with on-call responsibilities one weekend per month.

Location : Anchorage, Alaska, United States,

Responsibilities :

  • Performing electroencephalograms (EEGs).
  • Maintaining and cleaning EEG equipment.
  • Charting patient information in Epic.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Required Skills & Certifications :

  • Current BLS certification.
  • Registered EEG Technologist (REET) certification.
  • Minimum two years of experience as an EEG Technologist.

  • None specified.

    • Special Considerations :

  • On-call requirement : one weekend per month.
  • Guaranteed hours : 60 hours per two weeks (with possibility of one 11-hour shift cancellation per two weeks).
  • No floating to other units.
  • No block scheduling accommodations.
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
  • Parking is free.
