Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our team in our Lab Outreach department at Baptist Jacksonville. This is a PRN, various shift opportunity.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for :

• Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
• Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
• Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
• Utilizing computer functions.
