Our well known client in Rochester is seeking an experienced and reliable Material Handler to join their team! You MUST have prior experience and solid work history to be considered.

Material Handler Details :

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 03 : 30pm)
  • Material handler moving materials and items to each department as needed

    • 1. Safely transport raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts.

    2. Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate material records in designated storage areas.

    3. Deliver materials to the appropriate production lines or workstations to ensure continuous workflow and minimize downtime.

    4. Driving a forklift

    5. Maintain organized storage areas, remove empty containers or waste, and ensure materials are stored safely and neatly according safety standards.

    Material Handler Qualifications :

  • MUST BE RELIABLE!
  • Ability to count accurately, to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
  • Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules , patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations
  • Must have previous forklift experience
  • Ability to sit or stand for duration of shift.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and / or carry up to 75 pounds throughout the duration of the shift
  • Ability to work in temperatures that can exceed 100 degrees
  • Ability to work with / around fiberglass
