Material Handler Details :
Temp-to-Hire positionhourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 03 : 30pm)Material handler moving materials and items to each department as needed1. Safely transport raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts.
2. Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate material records in designated storage areas.
3. Deliver materials to the appropriate production lines or workstations to ensure continuous workflow and minimize downtime.
4. Driving a forklift
5. Maintain organized storage areas, remove empty containers or waste, and ensure materials are stored safely and neatly according safety standards.
Material Handler Qualifications :
MUST BE RELIABLE!Ability to count accurately, to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracyAbility to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules , patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operationsMust have previous forklift experienceAbility to sit or stand for duration of shift.Ability to push, pull, lift, and / or carry up to 75 pounds throughout the duration of the shiftAbility to work in temperatures that can exceed 100 degreesAbility to work with / around fiberglassApplicant may be subject to a background checkA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
