Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details
Location : Columbus, Georgia 31901 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
Assignment Length : 12 weeks (Start : January 12, 2026 – End : April 6, 2026)
Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07 : 30 – 16 : 00)
Hours per Week : 40
Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2260
Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Cath Lab, Trauma Level II
Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics
Unit Systems : Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub Color : Provided by facility
Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend
Call Requirements : 4-person call team, every other weekend
CT / Rad Tech Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT / Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab (Trauma Level II experience required)
Prior travel healthcare experience required
Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS
Active Georgia or Compact State Radiology License
Experience with Epic charting system preferred
Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
Must be able to work assigned holidays per facility policy
Key Responsibilities for Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate monitoring
Assist with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and other cardiac interventions
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data
Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment setup for all procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, and rapid response
Document all procedures and patient information accurately using Epic
Participate in call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
Float to other clinical units within scope of practice as needed
