Electrical Engineer

Location : Cedar Rapids, Madison and / or Des Moines

Position Type : In-Person / Full-Time

Position : Electrical Engineering position involved with the investigation, design, and construction of building interior and exterior lighting, electrical distribution, and power systems.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.
• Undertake electrical systems design including power systems, lighting, fire alarm and other low voltage systems.
• Perform engineering calculations for power and lighting systems.
• Provide direction to designers and BIM technicians for preparation of drawings detailing the design.
• Coordinate work with Clients and design team members of other disciplines.
• Create / prepare reports.
• Incorporate sustainable design methods.
