Join our team at Leidos as a Principal Industrial Security Specialist where you will have the opportunity to support a dynamic, large-scale program. We are seeking a dedicated professional to work within the intelligence community and contribute to our mission of providing vital security clearances, managing physical security for SCIFs, and enhancing counterintelligence awareness.
Your Role :
- Maintain and manage comprehensive program security requirements and customer compliance.
- Process personnel security clearances efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical security expertise across various disciplines including personnel, physical / industrial, and computer investigations.
- Prepare and disseminate security policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Conduct security clearances and SCI briefings / debriefings to ensure employee awareness.
- Track and manage government contractor badge renewals.
- Safeguard SCI and collateral information, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with DoD, intelligence community officials, and maintain up-to-date security regulations knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of all security actions and incidents.
- Create and manage Security Awareness and Counterintelligence training programs.
- Work closely with program management teams and the government customer to resolve security concerns.
- Conduct pre- and post-foreign travel briefings.
- Respond to security incidents and execute investigations as needed.
- Ensure SCIF physical security requirements are met including alarm response tests and inspections.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.Experience in security services, including briefings, incident management, and compliance regulations.Strong communication skills with an emphasis on documentation, collaboration, and engagement.Ability to manage extensive programs and provide briefings to various audience levels.Proven experience in high-threat and austere environments.Knowledge of operational security and counterintelligence issues.Self-motivated with a strong organizational ability to handle multiple priorities.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Top Secret / / SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in team leadership or management.Knowledge of SCIF modifications to ICD 705 technical specifications.Security training / certifications such as FSO, CSO, ISP, SFPC, or CSSO.If you are ready to take on a pivotal role and help shape our security strategy, apply today!
